Last summer we filmed our SS21 runway show as part of the first ever Paris Fashion Week Online®.  Who knew there would be a second one…

Pre-Covid when I was planning a live show, I put a contract on a beautiful old school in the centre of Paris.  The goal was to build a stream for the models to walk through to simulate the outdoors.  Being forced to stay home and improvise was probably the best thing that happened to us—artistically anyway.

The show & collection, “River Runs Through,” is about being immersed in nature—something I craved after our first few months of lockdown.  We found a gorgeous, lush green site in Thousand Oaks, California, not far from our studio in Los Angeles.  With the help of the crew at PlayLab, Andre Bato & team, and some really good friends, we were able to bring to life my vision to capture the intersection of nature and community.  The show starts with an intro from Vince Staples and the collection features some new custom camos, bolder colours, our first full women’s collection and a special collaboration with artist Juliet Johnstone.
