Inspired by the original elevation drawings of the 100-Inch Telescope at Mt Wilson Observatory. Perhaps its most notable discovery came in the 1920s, when Edwin Hubble used photographic plates from the 100-Inch telescope to discover that the Andromeda Galaxy is a galaxy in its own right. The Coaches Jacket is constructed of cotton herringbone panels, printed before garment dyeing. Printing with white ink on natural fabric allows natural abrasion as well as the ink to tint, creating a worn in look. All Jackets are hand printed and hand dyed individually in Los Angeles, CA.
